Determine if speaker is telling the truth Unit uses proven effective tests to analyze stress level changes in the voice Can work in person or on a televised or recorded voice
Do you really trust your friends or political leaders? Find out who's really telling the truth with the Truth Detector, an easy-to-read stress analyzer that glows red when a speaker's voice indicates increased stress levels, commonly associated with lying. The Truth Detector is powered by a 9-volt battery, sold separately
Two of the most effective indicators are the Psychological Stress Evaluator (PSE) and the Voice Stress Analyzer (VSA). These tests have been imported into the Truth Detector, a specially designed device that analyzes and measures the frequency changes that occur in the voice when a person undergoes stress. The machine's detections are then displayed by an LED band so that the results can be measured and analyzed through a bar graph comparator.
The built-in "result indicator" provides an instant display of truthfulness. In addition to the continuous measurement of a person's speech pattern, the Truth Detector analyzes its own data to give you cumulative results.
While no device can absolutely tell truth from false, this interactive machine is fascinating to watch as you engage in conversations with friends and associates, or you can even use it to monitor the voices of actors or politicians: Testing can be done from conversations on the radio, television, and even tape recordings.
The Truth Detector accurately measures changing stress levels in the voice, but as each individual's voice reacts differently, the Truth Detector can not be infallible. The Truth Detector operates most effectively when there is no background noise, which may lead to a false reading.
